Do you accept insurance?

I run a self-pay practice and don't work with insurance companies directly. This setup helps me see fewer clients and give more personalized care. Our focus can be on the quality of therapy without insurance restrictions. Many insurers offer out-of-network benefits, making reimbursement easy. If you want to use your out of network benefits, I will provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance carrier. Please contact your insurance company to determine the reimbursement amount. Use the following questions when you call your carrier to help understand your coverage:

  • Do I have out of network mental health insurance benefits?

  • Do I have a deductible for outpatient psychotherapy sessions and if so, has it been met?

  • What is the reimbursement rate for a licensed doctoral level psychologist?

  • How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?

  • Is pre-approval required from my carrier or primary care provider?
