Do you accept insurance?

I run a self-pay practice and don't work with insurance companies directly. This setup helps me see fewer clients and give more personalized care. Our focus can be on the quality of therapy without insurance restrictions. Many insurers offer out-of-network benefits, making reimbursement easy. You'll receive a statement for submission to your carrier. Contact your insurance company to know the reimbursement amount. Ask them these questions to understand your coverage:

  • Do I have out of network mental health insurance benefits?

  • Do I have a deductible for outpatient psychotherapy sessions and if so, has it been met?

  • What is the reimbursement rate for a licensed doctoral level psychologist?

  • How many therapy sessions does my plan cover?

  • Is pre-approval required from my carrier or primary care provider?
